Eating Disorder Care for Adolescents and Adults
I offer warm, expert treatment for adolescents and adults struggling with the spectrum of food-and-body related disorders, as well as with anxiety, complex trauma, chronic illness, identity, and relationships. I provide services via telehealth, which is open and accessible to all Washington state residents.
Services
-
Family-Based Treatment is the gold standard in eating disorder care for adolescents (roughly ages 12-24). By leveraging the nurturing power of parents, family, and other caregivers, FBT creates an intensive treatment environment right in the home.
-
Whether you’ve been actively struggling with an eating disorder for years, or you just realized you may have an issue with eating and body image, we will work together to find your path out of disorder and into the fullness of your self. All bodies welcome.
-
Finding our way in this society as disabled and chronically ill humans can be both challenging and isolating, but it can be deeply connecting, as well. I support teens and adults dealing with chronic illness and disability using therapeutic approaches that meet the particular needs of individuals within this population.
-
My additional areas of specialization include anxiety, depression, complex trauma, family of origin and other relationship issues, and identity exploration (with particular focus on Jewish experience).
Angelina Lane, LICSW
I’m glad you’re here. I love the work I do, and I bring extensive experience, expertise, and deep presence to the treatment of food & body issues, chronic illness, and more. I’m an advocate at heart and take a body liberation approach to healing; I value and affirm the spectrum of human diversity. I’m a highly relational therapist adept in evidence-based and multicultural practice, behavioral and depth psychotherapy, and integrating the wisdom of lived experience from the many courageous people who’ve gone before on the path to recovery. I honor each person’s unique healing process—rarely linear, but always possible.
